Meruza, the fictional country at the heart of Aconcagua , lies in turmoil under the grip of a military dictatorship. For its people, freedom and rights are distant memories, but hope still flickers in the form of Pachamama, the daughter of Meruza's first President and leader of the Democratic Movement.

The day of independence draws near, but fate has other plans for Pachamama. During a flight she was on, a terrorist detonates a bomb, sending the plane crashing near Aconcagua 's peak. Miraculously, only five people survive, including Katoh, a Japanese reporter.

As Katoh, you must navigate the treacherous mountain terrain, avoiding terrorists who seek to exploit Pachamama's situation and eliminate her. Your goal is to guide the other survivors safely down the mountain, while also trying to keep Pachamama alive. The game features a unique blend of point 'n' click adventure gameplay and party-based strategy.

With multiple endings and a diverse cast of characters, each with their own skills and motivations, Aconcagua offers a rich and engaging experience for players. Will you be able to overcome the obstacles and lead Pachamama to freedom, or will the forces of oppression prevail?
