Story

Porky's Nightmare

Every hard-working pig deserves a vacation, especially Porky Pig. On the evening before his vacation, Porky retires to bed with pleasant thoughts, but something frightening has invaded his dreams.

Porky tosses and turns through six scary nightmare worlds. He'll confront ghosts, leprechauns, and creepy crawling creatures.

Every time Porky enters his dream the weather changes; it can be a bright sunny day or a desolate snowy blur. So hold onto your pillow, it's going to be a rough night!

How to Play

Object of the Game

Each game begins with 5 lives. Your goal is to make it to the end of each level so Porky can wake up from these awful nightmares.

Defeating Enemies

Throughout each level there are enemies to defeat either by jumping on them or throwing fruit at them.

•

To bounce off enemies, hold the jump button down while jumping on them.

•

Defeating an enemy awards Porky points.

•

If an enemy gets Porky, his health meter will decrease.

Health Meter

Porky's health meter consists of four hearts. If the health meter decreases to zero, Porky loses a life.

•

Porky can prevent losing a life by picking up heart icons.

•

The health meter is at maximum capacity with four hearts.

•

Picking up heart icons when the health meter is full will not increase the health meter.

Check Points

Porky will find red "X"s on certain areas of the ground surface throughout each of the levels in the game.

•

These "X"s mark check points for Porky to return to when he loses a life.

•

When Porky walks over an "X", he will plant a flag.

Pick-ups and Items

There are various pick-ups to be found during the game.

•

Cupcakes: Finding 100 cupcakes awards Porky a free man.

•

Cake Slices: Gives Porky points.

•

Fruit Bowl: Provides Porky with an unlimited inventory of fruit to throw at enemies. Once found, Porky keeps it until he loses a life.

Level Bosses and Continues

At the end of each level, Porky will face off against a boss, each one scarier than the next.

In case it is too much for Porky to handle, there are unlimited continues. Pleasant dreams!
