Ms. Pac-Man , the sequel to Pac-Man , was released in 1986 for the Atari 7800 console. The game continues on the familiar gameplay of eating dots while avoiding ghosts, but introduces new features to keep the title fresh.
The game's story follows Ms. Pac-Man as she attempts to clear four challenging mazes filled with dots and moving fruit, while being pursued by Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Sue. Each ghost has its own personality and tactics, making for a varied and exciting gameplay experience.
In the game, Ms. Pac-Man can turn the tables on her pursuers by eating an Energizer, which gives her temporary invincibility. During this time, the ghosts turn blue, and she can eat them for bonus points. However, the power only lasts for a limited time, as the ghosts regenerate and chase after her again.
Surviving a few rounds of gameplay is rewarded with humorous intermissions showing the growing relationship between Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, culminating in the arrival of "Junior".
