Takuya Murasawa and his comrades from the Slash military force are faced with an unknown threat when unidentified enemy robots, known as Vectors, attack their base. This event marks the beginning of a global conflict sparked by the widespread use of advanced robot technology.

As players progress through the game, they can switch pilots between different robots and make repairs during battles. Character development is key, as gaining experience points allows Takuya's team to level up and unlock new machines and equipment.
