The player takes control of Ittle Dew , who finds herself stranded on a remote island with her trusty sidekick Tippsie, a winged fox. With no way back home, Ittle must use her wits to survive and find a new path.
The gameplay is similar to classic top-down Zelda titles, where the player directly controls Ittle Dew as she explores both the overworld and various dungeons. The focus shifts from combat to puzzle solving, mainly through Sokoban-style sliding puzzles. As the game progresses, Ittle gains three special abilities: a fire sword, an ice wand, and a teleportation block creator.
The journey is filled with hidden shortcuts and secrets waiting to be discovered, as well as an online leaderboard that challenges players to complete the game in the shortest time possible.
