Frogger is an action-packed arcade game where your goal is to guide a frog across a treacherous road and river to safety at the top of the screen. The road is full of hazards such as cars and trucks that will kill the frog if contact is made, while the river water itself is fatal. Later levels introduce snakes hovering in the water.
Gameplay involves using the arrangement of logs, turtles, and alligators to navigate the obstacles, jumping into one of the open home-cells for extra points. The goal is to fill each hole before moving on to the next level, which becomes progressively harder with each attempt.
