Hey! Pikmin

Captain Olimar wakes up after crash landing his ship and realises that the fuel supply is empty. After wandering around, he comes across some Pikmin hidden around, and eventually some Sparklium seeds, which are what's used as fuel for the ship, and thus needed for escaping.

The game's story begins with Captain Olimar crash-landing on a mysterious planet and having to find a way off. Along the way, he meets different Pikmin who help him navigate through various environments and obstacles. The player must use their knowledge of each Pikmin type's abilities to overcome challenges.

The gameplay involves controlling Captain Olimar with the D-pad while using the stylus to control the Pikmin. Each Pikmin has unique abilities, such as swimming or resistance to fire, which can be used in different situations. The game also features puzzle elements and a health bar that depletes when the player bumps into enemies.
