Breath of Fire III is a role-playing game developed by Capcom. Released on the PSP in 2006, it is set free by the workers of Dauna Mine, where Ryu of the Brood learns about his power and the history of his extinct kind.
Players control Ryu and his allies as they journey through various landscapes, each with unique abilities that must be utilized to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies. By working together and using their individual strengths, players will uncover the story behind the Brood's downfall.
Ryu can transform into various dragon-like forms using a gene-splicing system, which allows for a high degree of customization. The game also features a Master System that enables Ryu and his allies to learn new abilities from trainers, who can teach them at varying levels of difficulty.
