Cover Girl is aimed at a female audience, promoting self-improvement and empowerment as a 'way to become a Truly Fabulous Female'. The game starts by asking for personal details such as name, date of birth, and favourite music style. Players can then choose one of the three available female characters to guide them through the game.
The gameplay involves accessing a digital magazine filled with various content, including articles on men's behaviour, horoscopes, recipes, and quizzes. Players can also engage in tarot sessions, sex-o-meter quizzes, Purse-onality quizzes, and Sudoku puzzles. Each new issue brings fresh content based on the same themes. Additionally, there is a size translator to compare clothes and shoes sizes worldwide. With 25 mini-games and over 100 quizzes, players can enjoy a variety of activities.
