Space Invaders Evolution is a classic arcade experience that returns to the gaming scene with both old and new versions of the iconic game. In the story, you play as humanity's last hope to save Earth from an alien invasion. The aliens, known as the "Buggers", are heading towards our planet and it's up to you to stop them.
The gameplay in Space Invaders Evolution is fast-paced and action-packed, with a variety of modes to play through. In classic mode, you can play the original color game or a port of the 1978 match-up mode, while also competing with a friend on the PSP using the built-in screen rotation feature. The wireless mode allows for support up to four players, making it perfect for parties and gatherings.
In the new Future Mode, the game takes place in 13 stages from Pluto to Earth in full 3D. You have to shoot down the mothership, which spawns small invaders over time. This mode supports three viewpoints, allowing you to take on the aliens from different angles. Additionally, there's a Beat Attack feature that allows you to time your shots with the music, making them more powerful and increasing your chances of winning.
