At its core, Lethal Enforcers is about taking on various adversaries in a series of shoot-em-up challenges. In the first game, you play as a 1990s police officer tasked with stopping bank robbers, Chinese Mafia members, and drug dealers who have taken to violence. The sequel, Lethal Enforcers II: Gunfighters , sees you take on a different role - that of a Sheriff in the Wild West - battling against outlaws and wrongdoers.
Gameplay-wise, both titles feature digitized enemy targets "popping up" on screen, which must be shot down before they retaliate. The experience is similar to an arcade game, with the option to use either a standard controller or the Konami Hyperblaster light gun for a more immersive experience.
Lethal Enforcers was released for the PlayStation on January 1997.
