The return of the legendary arcade racer to Playstation 3 and PC, developed by the newly formed SEGA Racing Studio Team . The game contains a host of new and old rally cars, as well as concept vehicles. Handling is loose and arcade-oriented, and the setup options are not as detailed as those in Colin McRae: DiRT.
The game features fifteen circuits across five terrain types - safari, alpine, tropical, canyon and arctic. Players must drive through various environments such as snow, sleet, sand, mud, water and gravel. Track deformation technology ensures that no two laps are ever the same, with grooves being impacted into the ground and snow being moved off the primary racing line.
Game modes include Quick Race, Championship, Time Attack and Online multiplayer. Time Attack allows players to set their best times and upload them to 360 Live or PSN. Players can also download other individuals' ghost tracks and try to beat them. Online multiplayer caters for online battles between up to six players.
Sega Rally Revo was released on 28 September 2007 for Playstation 3, PC, and Xbox 360.
