Mega Bomberman is a top-down action game where you control the Mega Bomberman character through various levels, defeating multiple enemies and bosses. Each level consists of blocks that can be exploded to reveal power-ups and eggs. Some blocks don't explode and serve as shelter. The blocks that do explode contain power-ups and eggs.

The game features a unique twist with the introduction of kangaroo eggs, which hatch into different types of kangaroos each with its own special ability. When you collect an egg, it hatches, and you can ride on the back of the kangaroo to use its abilities. If you're hit by an explosion while riding the kangaroo, it dies, but you continue to live.

Multiplayer mode allows you to choose from nine different characters, each with their own unique style. Once you select your character, you're placed in one of four arenas, where you must blow your way through blocks and attack opponents. Be careful not to get hit by bombs or take damage from your own explosions.

The game features various arenas to choose from, each with its own twist, such as trap doors, hidden spaces, conveyor belts, and more. With the Mega Bomberman game, you'll need strategy and quick reflexes to emerge victorious in this fast-paced action game.
