The cartoon mini-series Phantom 2040 , is based on this action-packed year. It's the year 2040, and the city of Metropia is in chaos.

Crime, smuggling, and terrorism are getting worse. The company Maximum Inc. has invented biotechnology that can harm nature, causing animal extinction and destroying ecosystems. The evil owner, Rebicca Madison, wants to take over Metropia and the world.

The 24th Phantom, Kit Walker, is a young man who must fight his way to save the day. He's only 18 years old, but he has a lot of determination and courage.
