Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is an action-packed racing game that follows Sonic as he tries to rescue his captured Flickies from Dr. Robotnik on Flicky Island. With seven levels between him and the final showdown with the evil doctor, Sonic must navigate through treacherous terrain and outsmart badniks to reach his goal.
The gameplay in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is a departure from traditional platformers, with a focus on racing and exploration. The game features five badniks per level, which must be defeated to progress. Sonic can pick up the animals that are freed from the badniks' bodies and lead them to an interdimensional ring to earn extra points.
