MorphX is set in Red Square in Moscow, which has been devastated by a nuclear catastrophe. The player must navigate through the alien-infested area to uncover the truth behind the invasion.
The gameplay of MorphX features an adaptive combat system that allows players to choose whether to enhance their abilities with alien DNA or retain their humanity. By solving DNA mini-games and puzzles, players can unlock new abilities and upgrade their skills, such as increased stamina and health.
Players will have the option to build and change MorphX 's alien DNA chains to improve various abilities, including energy harvesting from defeated enemies and enhanced regeneration rates. This allows for a range of combat strategies, from melee attacks with various weapons to ranged combat using plasma projectors and grenades.
