Xiaolin Showdown is a fighting game based on the animated series of the same name from Warner. It features four main characters: Kimiko, Omi, Raimundo and Clay, who can be played solo or with three computer-controlled players in story mode. Additionally, two unlockable characters, Jack Spicer and Chase Young, can also be used. The game's objective is to defeat enemy robots, collect Shen Gong Wu artifacts, and progress through the levels until reaching Mala Mala Jong, thwarting the plans of evil boy genius Jack Spicer. Each Shen Gong Wu provides unique powers, such as locking nearby characters or punching the ground for area damage. Coins collected during the game can be used to purchase additional Shen Gong Wu.
The gameplay is inspired by party fighting games like Power Stone and Super Smash Bros. Players can chain combos using button combinations, jump, and perform flying kicks.
Between levels, character showdowns occur, where players must bet a Shen Gong Wu. The winner of the challenge chooses a Shen Gong Wu from the loser. An option is also available to only play the showdowns instead of completing the full story mode.
Xiaolin Showdown was released on the PSP in November 2006 and falls under the Action & Adventure genre.
