Based on the game Clock Tower II , this game follows protagonist Mary Hunt as she tries to stop Scissorman, a disfigured mass murderer who has been terrorising the citizens of Norway. The player must navigate through three scenarios, including a prologue at the start, to prevent more people from being killed by Scissorman.
The gameplay involves finding hiding places and objects to defend against Scissorman's attacks. Between levels, the player can explore the town and take in the surroundings before moving on to the next level.
