NASCAR Heat 2002 is a racing game that lets you race as one of twenty-five drivers at nineteen tracks, simulating the 2001 Winston Cup season. You can race head-to-head against your friends or try to beat the real drivers' ghost cars in Race The Pro . The game also features Beat the Heat , which recreates real racing scenarios for a quick challenge.
The Xbox version has some key differences from the PS2 version, including new track models, textures, and car models. On the Xbox, you'll experience "race day" directly on the track-side monitor, without having to switch between Practice/Qualify/Race modes.
