The story in NBA 06 revolves around your rookie experience in the NBA, where you'll be thrust into the spotlight and expected to perform. The game takes a more life-like approach with the introduction of Life Mode, which puts you in control of an NBA rookie fresh out of college. Your performance on and off the court will shape your role within the team, influencing contracts, endorsement deals, and relationships with teammates.
Gameplay is where NBA 06 truly shines. The Showtime Gameplay mode allows for increased attributes and improved teamwork, enabling you to execute dazzling no-look alley-oops and highlight reel dunks. You'll also have the opportunity to train your character through a series of mini-games, honing your skills in one-on-one and three-on-three matches.
