Set 15 years after the first monochrome Castlevania adventure, Castlevania II Belmont's Revenge follows Christopher's son on a quest to rescue him from the clutches of evil. Four mysterious castles have appeared out of the fog, each filled with demons that must be defeated in order to progress.

Players control Jonathan Belmont as he navigates through treacherous terrain and battles his way through hordes of monsters to reach the heart of each castle. With a variety of power-ups and items at his disposal, Jonathan must use strategy and skill to overcome the challenges ahead and ultimately rescue his son from the clutches of Dracula.
