Atomic Punk, released as Dynablaster in Europe and Bomber Boy in Japan, is a game from Hudson Soft's Bomberman series.
The game offers two single-player and two multiplayer modes. In single-player mode "Game B", players experience classic Bomberman gameplay, while mode "Game A" introduces several variations.
Players can access nine areas, which can be explored in any order using a world map. Completing levels rewards gold, which can be spent on power-ups called panels in the shop. These power-ups, such as increased explosions or revive abilities, must be chosen before entering new areas to complete them.
Multiplayer modes are both player vs. player modes. In Panel mode, players can place one bomb at a time with improving panel power-ups in the field. In Powerful mode, no panels appear but each player can place up to four bombs at once with a larger radius.
Atomic Punk , Dynablaster or Bomber Boy was released on May 5th, 1991 for the GameBoy console.
