As you explore the game world, you can also use regular firearms like shotguns or pistols, which can be taken from enemies or bought from the Black Market. You can even modify these weapons to suit your playstyle.

The multiplayer mode is divided into two modes: Infection, where one player takes on the role of a fully mutated Hayden and the others hunt them down as ordinary soldiers, and Epidemic, where two teams, each with their own Hayden, try to kill the other's mutant.
