The Simpsons Game

The Simpsons Game follows the story of Bart Simpson, who discovers he has a superpower after reading a video game manual. He soon realizes that his family members also possess unique abilities. However, their new powers attract the attention of aliens Kang and Kodos, who invade Earth, prompting the family to become superheroes. The unlikely heroes must protect Springfield from an alien assault, discover the reason behind their powers, and perhaps their very existence.

The four controllable characters have their own abilities: Homer can expand and float, Bart has a grappling hook, Lisa plays her saxophone to stun enemies, and Marge can control people with her megaphone. Each ability has limited uses and requires special items or specific trigger points to be used. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions feature free-roaming gameplay in virtual Springfield.
