Batman: The Telltale Series

The game starts with a robbery at City Hall. Batman is there to fight the criminals, but a superhero Catwoman he has not encountered before turns up as well. At the same time, Bruce Wayne endorses District Attorney Harvey Dent to become Gotham's new mayor, much to the chagrin of the current mayor Hill. Other important characters are the mob boss Carmine Falcone, reporter Vicki Vale, police lieutenant James Gordon and childhood friend Oswald Cobblepot. The event at City Hall sets a lot in motion that involves all the different characters.

The game consists of five episodes released over time:

The game is available on Playstation 4, and can be purchased as a single season pass or individually. Depending on the platform, players may also have access to crowd play, where they can vote on choices and express emotions using a web-enabled device.

Gameplay involves cinematic sequences with no interactivity, dialogue choices that impact relationships between characters, and Quick Time Events where quick reflexes are needed to win fights. The player can also control Batman's drone in certain action scenes. An entirely new element takes place at crime scenes, where clues can be linked together to establish the events. Crowd Play is a feature that allows multiple users to participate and vote on choices.

Other elements include unlockable development videos, trailers, and a codex with background information on all characters. The game uses many familiar elements from previous Telltale games, but also introduces new features such as crowd play.
