Puyo Puyo Tetris brings together two beloved puzzle games in a unique way. The story revolves around the characters from the Puyo Puyo series and the iconic Tetris masters, who claim to be experts at both games. As they clash, it's unclear whether their competitive spirits can handle the combination of these two popular puzzle games.
The gameplay is just as exciting, with players battling through seven chapters of 10 stages each, playing as one of 26 characters. The objective remains the same: score chains and overwhelm opponents with Nuisance Puyos or extra blocks. However, the rules change frequently, and special challenges are introduced that require quick thinking to complete within time limits.
Multiplayer fans will be pleased to know that the traditional battle mode is still available, allowing up to four players to compete for bragging rights in both Puyo Puyo and Tetris .
