Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 , the direct sequel to Puyo Puyo Tetris , pits 28 characters against each other in the hopes of unraveling this mixed-up universe of Puyo Puyo and Tetris . There's only one way to find out why the Tetris masters have crash-landed into the Puyoverse again. The game follows a young girl named Marle as she tries to restore order to both worlds.
The gameplay of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is all about creating chains of colored blocks, known as Puyo, and clearing them before they reach the bottom of the screen. Players can also use special skills to hinder their opponents or gain an advantage. With five game modes and a new Skill Battle mode, there's plenty of challenge and variety for players.
The game offers a range of options for competitive play, including multiplayer battles for up to four players. However, solo players will also find plenty of enjoyment in the game's numerous single-player modes.
