POD SpeedZone is the sequel to the original POD for PC, a simple futuristic racer where you can attack your opponents. You are a miner on the colony of Damethra and an alien virus has taken over the cars, creating mutant cars. The game was one of the first games playable on SegaNet, and one of the only games to support the Dreamcast Broadband Adaptor. It features eight different vehicles to use on five 3D tracks.
POD SpeedZone gameplay is fast-paced action-packed racing with a twist: you can fight your opponents. The game is set in a futuristic world where you must navigate through 3D tracks, using your wits and reflexes to outmaneuver your foes. With eight vehicles at your disposal, you'll need to master each one's unique abilities if you hope to emerge victorious.
