Zombie Revenge takes place in a city overrun by the undead, where three agents - Stick Breitling, Linda Rotta, and Rikiya Busujima - join forces to fight against the zombie army. A government plan gone wrong has led to this chaos, and it's up to these agents to restore order.
The game features multiple weapons and 1 or 2-player arcade action, with each character having unique attributes that affect their performance in combat. Players can choose from a variety of attacks, including charging shots, variable shots, rolling attacks, and more.
Game modes include Arcade mode, where players can focus on either weapon-only or bare-knuckle fighting; vs Boss mode, where players face off against the game's bosses; Fighting mode, which pits players against each other; and a Training Room for practice. The game also features downloadable mini-games, including Zombie Revenge Raising Game, Zombie Fishing, and Zombie Doubt.
