Coach K College Basketball , a basketball game developed by Konami, was released in 1995 for the Sega Genesis. The game is NCAA-licensed and features 32 teams from across the United States, including Duke University and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Although it does not include player names due to licensing restrictions.
The gameplay in Coach K College Basketball remains largely unchanged from its predecessors, with three basic actions - fast running/steal, pass and shoot/block for A, B and C buttons - allowing players to control their team on the court. Players can also call moves on the fly by pressing one of the buttons along Start.
Players can experience three different game modes: Season, Tournament, and Exhibition, each offering a unique gameplay experience. The game's options follow the standard set from the NBA Live series, providing players with a familiar feel while still delivering an authentic college basketball experience.
