Warrior of Rome II is a real-time strategy game where you control the Roman Army. The gameplay is similar to Populous, but with a focus on individual units. You can direct these units in various ways, such as approaching and attacking targets, building or destroying structures, or forming or disbanding units.
The single-player scenario starts with Caesar receiving orders from Rome to quell a revolt in Asia. There's also a free battle mode for one or two players that features multiple maps to choose from. A notable feature of the game is its highly customizable menu system. You can reposition, resize, and close any information windows as you see fit.
