The world of Rune was once again plunged into darkness as the Dark Dragon, a powerful foe from a thousand years past, vowed to break free from his inter-dimensional prison and wreak havoc on the land. The legendary warriors of light had successfully defeated him in the past, but this time they were faced with an even greater challenge.

As the kingdom of Runefaust launched a massive assault on the kingdoms of Rune, a small band of brave warriors was sent to stop them. Their quest would take them across treacherous landscapes and into the heart of darkness, where they would face formidable enemies and make difficult choices that would determine the fate of their world.

Shining Force , a tactical role-playing game, drops players into this desperate conflict. With each character having unique strengths and weaknesses, players must carefully plan their battles and strategy to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. As they progress through the game, characters will unlock new abilities and enhancements, allowing them to tackle even more challenging foes.
