The Munchables brings a delightful world of islands connected by sparkling rainbows, where the quenchless creatures, the Munchables , live for one thing: eating. Their most prized possessions are the Legendary Orbs, which keep their lands rich and thrifty. However, their lives take a dramatic turn when a mysterious fleet of extraterrestrial spaceships surrounds the islands, taking over the Legendary Orbs and gaining unbelievable power. The aliens, led by Don Onion, unleash a dreadful army of fruits and vegetables, leaving the Munchables in dismay.

In this action-packed adventure, players control one of two Munchables: Chomper or Munchy, as they navigate through levels devouring the hostile legions of enemies. The player's progress is evaluated after completing each level, with bonus items awarded for high scores. As the Munchables eat their way through the levels, they grow and level up, becoming able to tackle bigger enemies.

The gameplay relies heavily on the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, allowing for precise movement, jumping, and eating mechanics. Players can use the Turbo Eat power to combo-kill multiple enemies in a row or perform a dash attack to defeat superior-level foes. The game also features co-operative mode and Mirror mode, where stages are mirrored and time limits add an extra layer of challenge.
