Set in a futuristic world, Rockman EXE N1 Battle follows Dr. Light and his robotic creation, Mega Man, as they battle against an alien threat known as the "X" viruses.
The gameplay revolves around strategy and puzzle-solving. Players must navigate through levels, collecting data chips to understand the movements of the X viruses. As the game progresses, new strategies and alliances are formed between Mega Man and other characters to defeat the X viruses.
