Bioshock Infinite is a first-person shooter game that takes place in 1912, during the height of the American Renaissance. The story follows Booker DeWitt, a former Pinkerton agent who has been hired to rescue a woman named Elizabeth from the floating city of Columbia. However, upon his arrival, he soon discovers that the city's ruling class, known as the Founders, have created a dystopian society in which they maintain control through a complex system of propaganda and violence.
