Halo: Reach takes place six months after the events of Halo 3 , where humanity is under attack by a Covenant invasion. The story follows Noble Team, an elite group of Spartans led by Captain Lasky, as they attempt to defend the planet Reach from the Covenant's relentless assault.
The gameplay in Halo: Reach focuses on fast-paced first-person combat and strategic team play . Players control Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a renowned Spartan-II super soldier, as he navigates through the war-torn planet of Reach. With a variety of firearms and vehicles at his disposal, John-117 must work with his team to take down enemy forces and uncover the secrets behind the Covenant's attack .
