The Halo: Reach game follows Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a super-soldier equipped with advanced combat capabilities, as he fights to defend the planet Reach from the Covenant forces. The story takes place between the events of Halo 2 and Halo 3 , with Master Chief leading a team of Spartans on a mission to activate the Ark, a ship that would preserve human life in the face of an impending invasion.
