Strike Force Hydra is a vertically scrolling shooter game where you control a character who must fight against enemy forces. The story follows a military unit called the Strike Force Hydra , which has been deployed to defeat an alien invasion.
The gameplay in Strike Force Hydra involves guiding your character through eight levels, each divided into three stages. Each level starts with a standard scrolling level, followed by a mini-boss fight, then an obstacle course where you must fly through a tunnel, and finally another shooting level with an end boss to defeat.
