Raiden Fighters Aces is a collection of the three coin-op Raiden Fighters shooters: Raiden Fighters , Raiden Fighters 2 , and Raiden Fighters Jet . All three games are direct ports of the original arcade releases, and each includes several game modes (normal, expert, score attack, and boss rush) as well as numerous control and display options. The Japanese release also includes a superplay DVD.
The story follows the battles against an evil alien empire threatening Earth's defenses.
Raiden Fighters Aces features fast-paced action with intense shootouts, dogfighting, and boss battles set in space and on enemy ships. Players can control up to three characters at once, each with unique abilities and strengths, as they fight to save the world from destruction.
Raiden Fighters Aces was released for the Xbox 360 console on May 7th, 2009.
