Thor: God of Thunder is a third-person action game based on the 2011 movie of the same name, which is in turn based on the Marvel comics series. Set in the world based on Norse mythology, Thor must save the fictional Asgard realm from destruction.
Because of Loki's treachery, Thor finds himself defending his city and traveling to other realms to stop the impending doom. He will need to fight enemies of an immense scale in melee brawler style while controlling the elemental storm powers of lightning, thunder and wind to vanquish enemies from a distance.
The game features a grapple mechanic used for more devastating attacks, as well as the ability to power up Mjolnir to hurl it at enemies. The game's unique blend of melee combat and elemental powers makes for an exciting experience.
Thor: God of Thunder was released on the Xbox 360 in 2011, offering a thrilling action-adventure experience for fans of the Marvel universe.
