Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark

The gameplay focuses on third-person combat, with players controlling various Transformers characters such as Bumblebee, Grimlock, and Optimus Prime. There are over 20 guns to choose from, including chaining beams and slime cannons, which can be upgraded with bonuses for specific weapons. Players can also level up or complete bonus challenges to earn gear drops, ranging from bronze to gold in value. The game features both car and air-based transformations, as well as a Dinobat and an Insecticon section.

The online multiplayer mode is called Escalation, where up to four players work together cooperatively to destroy waves of enemies on eight maps. In multiplayer, there are over 40 characters to choose from, including some with different models based on the movie or game universe. The experience and leveling system with its unlocks is shared between single-player and multiplayer mode.
