Planet Coaster

The gameplay focuses on designing custom roller coaster rides based on an extensive amount of components, including special effects, characters, and vehicles. Players must also manage their park, attracting guests and providing services while keeping them happy, managing staff and finances to make the park profitable. The response of guests can be measured, with options to alter ride speeds and G-forces to make them more exciting or to tone them down.

Players have the ability to design every building and service in the game, including shops and ticket booths, in a custom way. They can also share their creations with others using the Steam Workshop system.

The game offers three main modes: Sandbox, Challenge, and Career mode. Sandbox mode provides unlimited money and unlocked content from the start, while Challenge mode still requires managing finances. Career mode consists of a series of short scenarios with specific goals to complete.
