The Avar empire is threatening our homeland of Karinia, and as a member of the Bionic Corps' Elite Forces team, your mission is to infiltrate their installations, disrupt their plans, and rescue Commander Joe, a fellow bionic commando. You play a bionic soldier with a mechanic arm that allows you to interact with objects normally out of reach.

The game is based on the Bionic Commando arcade game and features typical platform gameplay with an emphasis on your bionic arms' capabilities. You can use it to swing from platform to platform, pull yourself up onto higher platforms, and attack enemies with it. Additional weapons and pickups are also available. At the start of the game, you can choose to play as either a male or female commando.
