The Densha De Go! 2 is a train driving game for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, released on January 1970. The gameplay takes place in various Japanese train routes, where players must stop at stations at the perfect moment and position to keep up with the schedule and obey signals and speed limits.
The Densha De Go! 2 is more of an arcade game than a simulation, focusing on scoring points by following the rules. Mistakes result in points being deducted from a counter, and if it reaches 0, the game is over.
Densha De Go! 2 features five different routes to drive through, including:
Tōhoku Shinkansen from Morioka to Shin-Hanamaki
Akita Shinkansen from Akita to Ōmagari
Keihin-Tohoku Line from Shinagawa to Ueno
Osaka Loop Line from Osaka to Tennōji (not in the Arcade original)
Kagoshima Main Line from Hakata to Kokura (only in PlayStation and Windows versions)
