The Nintendo 2DS bundle was released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. This special edition console comes with a range of exclusive goodies.

The bundle includes a translucent green Nintendo 2DS , along with a Pokémon-themed home screen pre-installed on the system, a poster featuring a map of the Kanto region, a Venusaur-themed sticker sheet, and a serial code card. This code allows players to receive a Mew in Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire, or redeem a certificate for participating stores, which would grant access to a Mew in Pokémon versions such as Akai, Midori*, Ao, or Pikachu.

The bundle's gameplay features the same Pokémon experience as other Nintendo 2DS games, with players capturing and training creatures, exploring regions, and battling opponents. The Nintendo 2DS bundle is perfect for fans of the Pokémon franchise looking to relive classic memories or introduce themselves to the series.

The release date was January 1, 2010.
