Family Guy - The Freakin' Sweet Collection is a compilation of classic episodes from the popular animated TV show, brought to life on the PlayStation Portable. The game follows the wacky misadventures of Peter Griffin and his lovable but dysfunctional family as they get into all sorts of trouble in their hometown of Quahog.
The gameplay itself is typical of a platformer, with Family Guy - The Freakin' Sweet Collection featuring 2D side-scrolling levels filled with enemies, power-ups, and hilarious cutscenes. Players control Peter as he navigates through various environments, from the Griffin's home to different locations in Quahog, all while trying to collect as many "Beer Bucks" as possible.
