The Strife: Veteran Edition brings back the classic shooter in a revamped form. This updated version not only makes the game available on modern platforms but also includes significant improvements to enhance the overall gaming experience. The original title has been fine-tuned to take advantage of high-resolution displays and widescreen support, with improved lighting and visual effects adding to the atmosphere.

The Strife: Veteran Edition also introduces several features that were initially planned for the game but never made it into the final release. The automap now clearly indicates current objectives, a new HUD display has been added for the Mauler weapon's torpedo mode, and a multiplayer "Capture the Chalice" mode has been included to provide more gameplay variety.
