Hello Kitty no Magical Museum follows the journey of Hello Kitty as she explores a magical museum filled with maze-like rooms to reveal stage pictures. The game is divided into three categories: Flower Path, Apple Path, and Star Path, each consisting of fifteen stages. In this adventure, Hello Kitty's movement is controlled automatically, but the player can change her path by manipulating gates.
The ultimate goal in each stage is to guide Hello Kitty to the goal point, marking a completed stage. Completed stages can be revisited in the Museum mode, where players can also print out the revealed pictures they've uncovered during their journey.
