Freestyle Boardin' '99 is a 3D snowboarding game. The game comes with four game modes: championship, time competition, freestyle and head-to-head.
The story revolves around becoming the best freestyle boarder by competing in different disciplines such as half pipes, downhill, straight jumps, freestyle jumps and slalom. You can choose between five boarders each with unique skills, and earn points to improve their abilities during the championship mode which consists of eight races.
In Freestyle Boardin' '99 , you're challenged to score as many points as possible by completing courses quickly and performing tricks in the freestyle mode. The time competition mode is a straightforward affair where your goal is simply to finish first.
Multiplayer mode allows for two players to compete against each other in a vertical split-screen format.
