Tora! Tora! Tora

The gameplay is varied, with different types of units useful for different actions. Recon planes can spot enemy ships, dive bombers help in sinking opponent's fleet, and infantry is used for beach landing and occupying enemy bases. To add to authenticity of the conflict, the game uses black-and-white photo stills of the actual scenes from the war. The game features about a dozen training missions to let the players master each aspect of the gameplay, campaign modes that let the player select one of the many available scenarios, and grand campaign. In both single scenarios and full campaign modes, the player can choose to control either U.S. forces or forces of the Empire of the Rising Sun.
